Shimp Creations helped us overcome our fears to take on a major indoor/outdoor remodel of an old home. Todd’s quality work was completed on an aggressive schedule and within budget. Todd was easy to work with, and was very flexible and reasonable handling the many changes we made along the way. While Todd did a lot of the work himself, we were also impressed with his small army of dedicated subcontractors. Todd’s creative problem-solving and project management skills kept things on track and produced a great outcome we’ll be happy with for many years.

We hired Todd Shimp to build our second story addition. We had seen his work and knew he had a great record with completely his work in a timely fashion. Being almost six months pregnant when the work began September, having us be a priority was important. The job was completed in January, before the baby's due date, as promised. The baby was born two days after moving back into the house. The timing was perfect!
Todd was our eyes and ears on the job. He always communicated with us regarding all issues good or bad. He gave us advice and suggestions when necessary. Todd treated our home like it was his own, and the quality of his work shows the pride he takes in his job. The subcontractors that he recommended all did an excellent job, and stayed on the same timetable that Todd had set.
We highly recommended many friends and neighbors to hire him. He is getting so busy we suggest contacting him now!

We hired Todd Shimp to build an outdoor BBQ/kitchen and it looks fantastic! Living in San Diego, it's hard enough to find ANY contractor yet with Todd, we found a contractor who was friendly, knowledgeable, honest and he showed up! (Which isn't very common among his peers.)
We were so happy with the BBQ we immediately hired him to design and build our two tiered deck on the hill behind our house, which also looks great. He will be starting our outdoor volleyball court this spring!
